Face I am just about to go to bed and noticed this !!!

I was a round in The Brixton riots in 81 and that was a whole different kettle of fish ..due to the Sus Laws which were outrageous ..i did not agree with the rioting ....cos FFs they were only hurting themselves and community....But I did agree with the reason !!!! No I was not involved with the riots ..I lived in Colliers wood 15 mins away ....and there was no way i would put myself in that situation it was crazy !!!

No I would not loot !!! No !!! No!!!!

The stuff that is happening now is beyond anything I could ever imangine ... I am Glad I am here I am Glad my daughter is here and I am Glad my grandkids are here ...

I am sad that my daughter in law and my son are living in Brixton and the new baby is Due anyday ... and I know how scared my daughter in law is of going in to labour evening time etc etc !!!

I hate when I see Hackney/dalston where i grew up in such a bad way ....I hate to see Croyden where i passed my driving test so torn up !! ffs clapham junction I used to work there every day ....I hate to see the police so helpless !!!!

Time for my bed XXXX

now the edl are getting involved;

Alex Thomson of Channel Four News has tweeted that hundreds of riot police were confronting about 200 EDL supporters in Eltham, with at least one arrest being made.

He tweeted: "Bottles thrown at riot cops by group of middle aged white guys.

"They're shouting EDL slogans at cops. Cops charging crowd out from Eltham town ctr.

"100s cops - many Welsh - making at least 1. Arrest. Pushed back crowd of white m-aged men shouting EDL and chucking stuff. Over 1000 cops here.
