Why Do Men Have Nipples? And other interesting questions!

I got this book "Why Do Men have Nipples" for Christmas awhile back in it's full of interesting questions that myself and nearly every doctor or nurse has been asked. Periodically I'll post some of the best from the book...... and try to answer any that you may have
1. So, why do men have nipples?
From the time we're conceived until about 6 weeks into our development, we are all developing as females. At that point, the male sex chromosone kicks in for a male embryo and male characteristics start to develop. Because it started out as a female, the male embryo is left with some breast tissue.
2. Why can you ignite a fart? And other "Fart Facts"
An average fart is made up of: 59% nitrogrn
21% hydrogen
9% carbon dioxide
7% methane
4% oxygen
*** <1% of it's makeup is what can make a fart stink--- this is hydrogen sulfide gas. It contains sulfur which has a strong odour and the more sulfur you have in your diet (beans, cabbage, cheese, eggs, soda), the stinkier your farts will likely be.
*** the hydrogen and methane are the combustible parts---- how much of these gasses are in your farts are basically due to the bacteria in your colon. These bacteria digest or ferment food that has not been digested but the intestinal tract before it reaches the colon.
Normal body temperature of 98.6 degrees Farenheit is also the temperature of a fart at the time of creation.
Average fart speed: 10 feet per second
On average, we produce half a litre of farts in a day.
Most people pass gass about 14 times a day
