Do you know if uses UTC, or just the local system time?
I'm wondering if it functions like an "atomic clock" that you could use to synchronize your system time.
so far, I've been using a freeware program called Neutron (from Robin Kier).

I think it's just system time - the file is only 3k long including graphics.

If I ever lose all my watches and all the clocks in my house, and all the clocks on my DVD and VRC players, but somehow my computer still works yet won't show the time in my system tray... this will be very useful

a firefox tab is easier to look at than the system time - so stick that in your pipe and see if it plays the 2 am pips!
