Ok, the idea of this thread is to post a link to an mp3 that you like. This isn't a call to post hundreds of links, just one good tune at a time. You can use a search engine like www.g2p.org to find stuff or use the file attachment option to post something you've already got.

Here's one to start that I just heard for the first time in ages...

I love Tragically Hip. When I came to Canada I went and saw them at the AC Center and it was one of the best shows I've ever been to. It was incredible to see thousands of people singing along and all knowing the words.

Since that show I've bought almost every CD they've put out.

I envy you, Irish. I haven't yet seen them in concert. Perhaps one day soon...

Like you, I have almost all of their CD's up to Music@Work (which is a slight departure from their usual sound). I like the fact that they sing about Canadian subjects (eg. Wheat Kings, 38 Years Old).

Have you ever been to the Paris of the Prairies?

I've not a clue what Paris of the Prairies means but I gather it's a place.

Their newest CD is absolutely brilliant. When I first played it I was like oh this will be my fave but it seemed they all were. I highly suggest you get it. You won't be disappointed.

My fave song by them is Poets, but they're all just brilliant. Nautical Disaster and At The Hundredth Meridian are right up there too.
