I'm currently watching the Channel 4 Political Awards.
My bet is that the greatest politician in the entire country won't even get a passing mention... not even a derisory one. |

Yep, the Brian Haw speech was short and sweet - that guy deserves so much respect.
I heard George on his show last night saying that he had received an invite to the C4 Awards, but he turned them down. |

great to see brian win it and good to see mark thomas presenting the award. really shocked though that blair got 8% and cameron 6%!
shame bankys didn't win the the one he was up for, although i bet he's more than happy now celebs are forking out massive money for his artwork
did anyone see any mention of brians win in the media? i remember last year when jamey oliver won it, it was all over the media, this time round ... |

| john was being annoying, trying to treat him a little bit like a kid who won an award for something eccentric. at least the people that voted for him know what he's saying is important! stop the war, i wanna get his t-shirt for the demo on Sat! |

| I'm not sure I agree with you, Salim. Jon Snow of C4 news is a man I have a great deal of respect for - him and Krishnan Guru Murthy have really cut some racist, zionist morons down to size in their time. |

Thanks for posting the video. Nicely said, I must say, on Brian's part. I wish I had crossed the street to shake his hand when I was in London last October.
As a minor digression, does anyone else find it puzzling that there's no crosswalk to get to the park facing the Houses of Parliament? It's almost like they don't want anyone to be there... |
