Wow! That is amazing! I can say I wouldn't want to run into him in a dark sea!

Interesting story, Face. I can see how this kind of thing happens. I remember looking after a boy when I was in nursing school who had a small "head" on the side of his face. He had come to our city from the Dominican Republic (I think!) to have it removed by one of our surgeons. It didn't have eyes or anything but did have hair and some teeth. Funny, but that picture made me think of him. He looked quite good when the mini-head was removed... not perfect, but much better than before and certainly, he never would have gotten treatment like that where he was from.

If we lived in Ancient Greece these would all be signs from the Gods.
I am glad that Star is doing well and I hope the piglet does also.

This is funny because we were just discussing this last night over dinner with our friends!

HERE'S proof every dog has its day - no matter how ugly - as minging mutt Gnasher scoops our 'Rufts' Award. Our alternative version of posh pooch show Crufts, currently on at Birmingham's NEC, honours the nation's worst-looking pets. Mangy Gnasher was the runaway winner of the entries we received after appealing for your snaps this week.
Despite what you might think, he ISN'T actually a stray and was nominated by proud owners Cameron and Tobias Shaw, aged nine and five. The thrilled lads, from York, said: "We just had to enter Gnasher into the competition to find the UK's Ugliest Mutt. It's just a pity you can't smell his breath!"

I think that would be a perfect dog for our Keef Miller should Ghangis have a mishap.

Actually, wild boars are very dangerous when they are "normal" sized. This thing could have really hurt someone if it had ever gotten near civilization. At least they are eating it.

It looks like something out of Lord of the Rings. I think they were called Wargs.
