It's been a while since I was on the forum but I wanted to just stop by and say hello. I used to love checking in and chatting but took a new job and my hours have been crazy.

My kids go back to school in a few days so hopefully I will have more time to log on.

No. we had to postpone our holiday this summer to Glasgow. My hubbie lost his job and it took a few months to get another one. This hit us hard financially so we have had to postpone the trip. My kids were really upset about it - but he's working again now and we are definitely coming over for Christmas and Hogmanay!! This will be the first time I have celebrated Christmas with my family for 16 years !!!

So looking forward to it.

Welcome back Cannie. Sorry to hear about your rough times and I'm glad they've turned around for you. It's horrible that you missed your trip, but at least you have something nice to look forward to for the holidays this year.
