This bear is a repeat offender and if allowed to roam free, will only continue to menace the good bees of this city! I say we should lock him up and throw away the key!! Dirty thievin' bear!! LOL!!LOL!!

Also, it looks like that Shark has really white teeth. Obviously big on dental hygiene

is that true? i didn't know that ... i was chatting the other day about how i thought humans were the only animals that got extra sets of teeth ( the milk, real and then wisdom ) and for what evolutionary purposes did we develop that way ... if sharks do maybe other animals do as well

A shark's teeth take such abuse that they wouldn't last an entire life time. I am not sure if it iscomparable to our losing out baby teeth for adult teeth, as it's not really to do with growing, just the teeth getting dull. You guys make the call....

I think Dogs do too don't they? I remember when we had a Dog and when he was going from Puppy to older Dog we used to find his teeth all over the place

Dogs do have milk teeth, as do cats. I have some of my dogs puppy teeth. Other primates loose their teeth as well.

The reason for this evolutionary development is quite simple, they are milk teeth. Most mammals have them. It makes it easier for the breast feeding mother. It also ties in with the fact that our mandibles change in size as we grow. If they teeth didn't grow with the jaw, there would be problems.

Coming back to this story - I heard yesterday on some quiz show that the pigs are allowed to roam about during the certain period when there are loads of acorns lying about. I'm not sure if that's just for the pig's benefit, but there's probably a land management reason for it too.

I'd like to know why a 27 year old man is throwing anything at a teenaged boy. I hope the poor hedgehog wasn't killed as a result of being hurled at the kid. Regarding the wild pigs story, that is quite interesting that they let them roam about for the acorns. Probably mutual benefit I suppose. Kewl!
