I know, Face, right????? And of all of the places to do it: a United Airlines flight landing at Dulles International Airport (the same airline and the same airport used on 9/11)!! I'm just lucky some jumped-up Air Marshall (or whatever they're called) didn't have me hog-tied and handcuffed before I could explain that I was first and foremost upset about a flippin' HOCKEY game, FFS! Nothing to do whatsoever with the "other news" .....

@ Spurs:
I'll be watching over at my sister's place -- with plenty of Tums and Pepto-Bismol on hand......

 I would have liked to have seen your "moment" on the plane, Kez .

@ Spurs - Hope you have recovered from last Friday ! :)

Well Congrats to your Bolts, Spurs. :no1:

They proved that they're the better team and wanted it more. So hat's off to ya!

[The Lightning's #10 is some player, isn't he?]

So, here's to the Southeast Division taking it all the way to the Stanley Cup!

Yay Bolts! Boo downtown traffic when getting out of work. lol :-) I'm quite surprised at how well they are doing and how they clawed their way to a big victory in the first series. Bring the cup to Tampa, I would love for them to parade it downtown for us to see.

I am just recovering from last nights festivities...Amazing! I never thought we would make it to the playoffs much less advancing to the Eastern Conference finals...GO BOLTS!

@Kez - Yes our Bergy (#10 - Shawn Bergenheim) is quite a player. Since the Islanders have so much time on their hands these days to think about past mistakes, I am sure that they are kicking themselves for letting him and Nate Thompson go. We are sure glad to have them!

Home owners associations are good in theory just not in practice. I agree, Pirty, good for him and his creativity. I have had a large Lightning magnet on my garage door for months and no one has said a word...

I also have to agree with Paul...if it were the Bucs or the sainted Rays, there would have been an article about the letter Paul got from HOA praising his commitment to his community.

GO BOLTS!!

I often say "Don't make me strap on my skates and come down there!" but in reality I haven't skated since I was 10 and living in Chicago.

That being said, the boys sure put on one hell of an event yesterday! Down 3-0, we managed 5 unanswered goals to win the game! It was amazing. There is a video on my FB page of fans making a huge human lightning bolt at the airport this morning so the guys could see it as they left for Boston. Gives me chills...

Even though all of my friends are pulling for the Sharks, I, too, am pulling for the Canucks in the West. I am hoping for the Canucks v the Lightning....

Game 5 just about ready to start....gotta get a soda!
