Dennis spits in Mohammed's face
By GEMMA VARLEY[/align]

E4 suspended their live coverage of Big Brother last night after a fight broke out between Dennis, Mohamed, Rex and Darnell. And Dennis is worried he could be EVICTED from the house for aggressive behaviour after spitting in Mohamed's face.

A cider-fuelled evening spiralled out of control after Rex smudged Jen's task-winning painting of Stuart. Jen broke down in tears earlier in the evening after Rex's badly-judged 'joke' and was comforted by camp dancer Dennis McHugh who was furious at chef Rex's behaviour. Dennis snapped as Mo defended his buddy Rex and said Jen was just an "attention seeker".

Big Brother acted quickly, suspending live coverage to give them time to calm the situation. They split the housemates into two groups and told them to stay in the two separate bedrooms for the rest of the night.

In the luxury bedroom Dennis told Jen, Dale, Bex, Luke, Jen, Stuart and Lisa: "If a woman is sitting breaking her heart no-one should be arguing. Mo got up in my face and said 'Don't tell me to shut up' and that's when I spat at him in his face. If I'm removed, I'm removed ... everyone's gonna get pulled in one by one tomorrow."

Big Brother producers are now calling housemates to the diary room one by one to get their version of events. They will decide Dennis's fate in the morning.

A Big Brother spokeswoman said: "Around 12.45am a verbal argument took place between a number of housemates. During that argument Dennis allegedly spat at Mohamed." She added:"Big Brother immediately intervened and separated the housemates into their bedrooms, where they will remain until the morning. Big Brother is currently talking to each of the housemates individually and reviewing the situation before deciding if any appropriate action is required."

I've been thinking for a while that they needed more alcohol in there... but this is pretty mental. Mohammed should have knocked him out!

buh bye Dennis. If they don't toss his ass out, then spank me and call me Nellie...lol! I think he has to go, that's unacceptable and it's a mild assault, but an assault nonetheless.

mohammed certainly has some restraint in not flooring him! i've not caught much of bb this year but i don't like dennis - from what i've seen rex and mohammed seemed alright, but i don't think anyone else in the house likes them that much so maybe i've missed stuff ... i'm still working out which of the girls is the best looking, which is the most important thing in each bb :)

I think they don't like Mohammad because he eats too much, but other than that, he's a nice guy. They also don't like Rex because he controls the shopping list too much, and people don't like to be told no when it comes to their food items. I think Mohammad has been shit on by some of the younger housemates and he has up to now shown great restraint IMO.

Yup. Those two, as well as a few other housemates kept on talking about the audition process, and the stuff that goes on before they enter the house regarding the process, and so as punishment, the 5 or 6 that were guilty had to decide among themselves which two go to jail. They all usually volunteer themselves of course, not that they want to, but to look like the heroes...lol! So, that's why those two went in.

I Just read this on DS

Dennis has been removed from the Big Brother house following last night's argument.

The argument, which began when Rex put water on Jennifer's painting of Stuart, escalated and Dennis spat in Mohamed's face.

A Channel 4 spokeswoman said: "Spitting in someone's face is seriously offensive and Mohamed was understandably upset. Big Brother has very clear rules about offensive behaviour. Like all housemates Dennis was clearly informed before entering the house that he faced eviction if he acted in an unacceptable manner."

Tonight's eviction, in which Mohamed and Sylvia face the public vote, will still take place.

I cant say I care for too many of the housemates this year ....But I hope Silvia will go to night followed by that weird luke and Micky soon ......

But I am glad that they got rid of that little tosser Dennis ......

And Hope they put in some intresting people soon ....... :)

The line about him getting special treatment from the Scottish producer because he's Scottish too is just laughable.

The whole argument in and of itself was so ridiculous. Rex did apologise, but Jennifer just kept insisting on making a big deal about her painting - it was as if Rex had assaulted one of her family members or the like. She and her cohorts just escalated it beyond the ridiculous. What Mohammed said was correct, "It was just a painting."

I'm glad that Stuart & Dale were called in to address their role in the argument & that Stuart, at least, confessed that he did play a role by bringing Rex back in for a 2nd apology and then having a go at him. Dale is so thick I don't think he got the point.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jennifer get the boot -- what I don't understand is why no one spoke to her about her role in making the argument into a free-for-all. If she had just said, "OK, Rex apologised & I'm drawing a line under it", it would have ended there. Why she was crying hysterically must have been down to too much booze and a lack of perspective from being locked in the BB house.

I reckon that she was just looking for an excuse to have a falling-out - it's not as if he ruined the picture. And for her to say 'that's my art'?!?! It was like something an adequate 12 year old could do...

The thing that got me about it all was the way Sylvia and Jennifer were crying as if in mourning when he got booted out. That was just nonsense! but then again, maybe Jen was crying so much because she knew she'd caused it?

Ahh big brother bollocks - you cannae beat it! haha

Can't wait to see the eviction results tomorrow -- it will be interesting to see how the public view Jennifer vs. Rex!

I'm with you on that, Luke - 100% First Jennifer, then Rebecca! They both are soooo annoying..... :x

But little ol' Kat is starting to wear on my nerves (as well as, apparently, on some of the housemates). She really does need to get her act together and realise that "Happy House" sounds like the title of a children's programme. :crazed:

happy happy happy house happy house happy house  i was quite surprised yesterday when mairo said kat was 30! i'd always just assumed she was quite young

i'm also finding luke a bit annoying - he just seems to go back and forth between various housemates stirring it up - but he does come out with some gems now and then ... maybe he'll change when jen and and bec have gone ...

I like that rebecca - she seems genuine and quite a laugh. But I don't actually dislike any of them that much, maybe Rex because he's just a rich tosser. I thought Mario would really get on my nerves, but he's got a good bit of patience really and the way he threw the water on the seals with such determination was funny.
