glad to see you's all too!

one thing I've noticed is that the site is working a lot faster. I'm guessing they got rid of some other sites which were causing pressure.

Glad we're all back :)

I tried checking in a few times Fri and Sat and figured it must have been down. Phew! I was having "Couchtripper" withdrawl!

Glad to be back. Even though I've been gone a lot with work lately, it's not the same if I can't stop by for a peek!

Glad to see the site back up. I guess because of the way the hosting provider does it you have to go thru their servers to get the site to lookup in their DNS lookup?
To bad we can't just plug in a IP address to get there on our own.

at the moment the server company are the registrants also (because of the deal I chose) and the IP wouldn't really help as the phpbb software requires the 'couchtripper' part of the address to work. But that will change soon - I'm planning to upgrade a lot of things in the next month, so with any luck it will all be a smooth changeover when it comes.

I missed all the disappointment of the site being down as I was in Philly for a wedding at the weekend. Hope it didn't cause too many tears. Glad it's back now though.

ok, there was a bit of problem this morning, but it should be sorted for the moment.

I need to ask for donations for the yearly update though as it's due now, so if anyone's a regular user and you value the place it would be appreciated.

To donate, go to this page and you'll see the donate button on the right-hand side.

Thanks in advance.

the site was down for a few hours last night - it looks like the first time there's been any noticable problem since last April, which isn't bad at all.

anyway, sorted now

over the next few days there might be some times when the site is down - this is due to the DNS being changed. It shouldn't take too long to sort...
