I think we are doing okay without him and as much as I'd love to have him back I want him to go to the World Cup and shine... so yes please get back soon but only when you are fit Aaron!

I hate to say things like we are doing ok without him because it makes it sound like we don't need him, but you are 100% right, Colston. I would rather he take his time healing and shine on the global pitch!

Blimey I'm still cold.

Early evening in March next to the river is not the place to be if you want to stay warm. Just home and thanks to British Rail I've at least warmed up!

Thought it was a good game and that neither side gave a quarter.

Got a few texts saying I was on TV!

Good win again today. Nice that Defoe and Pav are combining well together.

Three relatively easy league games coming up and we need to make them count. COYS

Bale was immense again. Palacios played well, but it will be some time before the Galacticos come calling for him...

I was in Denver on Saturday, which is in a different time zone than Florida. I got an email from my brother saying that Spurs were on ESPN2 @7:30 am Eastern Standard time, so I set my iTouch for 5:15 to be ready for line ups and such as Denver is 2 hours behind Florida (Mountain Time). The alarm went off, I got up, got my blanket and Spurs tshirt, got a soda and hunkered down on the couch to watch. I turned on the TV and there was an infomercial on!!! I was very confused...Then I looked at the time on the cable box...3:30 am!!! The iTouch does not automatically change time zones when you travel like a cell phone does, so I was up 2 hours early! Needless to say I reset the alarm and went straight back to bed!! The game was well worth it though. I am also glad to see Pav and Defoe playing well together. COYS!!!

It's funny now....oh, who am I kidding, it was funny then! I actually laughed out loud at myself alone in my friend's living room. I was so afraid I was going to oversleep when I went back to bed, it took me 1/2 hour to fall back to sleep. By that time, it was almost time to get back up! I am so glad life isn't boring....

Thanks! I try to do my part. It requires a little more forethought here as you really have to plan ahead...sometimes the games are on, sometimes they aren't, you have to figure out the time diff..which as evidenced, I am not so good at  and you are always battling what ever else is going on since it is not a focal point here. Ahh, the trials and tribulations of an overseas Spurs fan! All in a days supporting....

There was a show on Scottish tonight called 'Scotland's Greatest Team' and which had one of the contenders as some guy called Gilzean who played for Spurs. I'm sure you'd all enjoy it - I'd not heard of him before, but he looked a brilliant player alongside Jimmy Greaves.

Here it is for those in the UK - I think the bit about him was in the second part. I'll try and get the full show and clip it.

Thanks Face... he was a great for Dundee too. Now very much a recluse although he did show up to be commended by Dundee at their first game this season. Spurs fans, the club and journos have tried to talk to him but he isn't interested. Football was a job to him apparently and nothing more but a job he could do very well.

Came to us after winning title in Scotland with Dundee and being topscorer up there a couple of times.

Yes, he was a good player apparently, Faceless. His son played for the Cobblers, whoop whoop!

Damn!! That sucks...Hard fought win today. It really didn't have to be that difficult. I am glad that they sat Palacios out though...he would have defo had a yellow. Poor Modric...got kinda bullied in mid field today...What was the deal between Corluka and BAE? We were watching it online with Portuguese commentators so we have no idea what was going on.

I'm not sure... Harry said one speaking in French and one in Croatian...

Like you said hard fought win and another striker down!

It's on for me.
