Sorry about the multi quote, Face, I didn't know.

As for the photos, the whole thing looks a bit strange in still photos. In the photos with background people, it really points out that even if you are an extra that doesn't figure into the main action, you have to always remain in character. If someone had been laughing or something in the back you may not have noticed it watching it on TV, but you sure would in these stills. It was a very powerful episode.

I agree with you 100% Aja. It really could have been a great story and it could have given the viewers a satisfying feeling for lack of a better description.

[align=center]UNHAPPY ENDER

Up to 5,500 EastEnders fans have signed an online petition complaining about the death of Danielle Jones. They wanted producers to re-write the storyline to leave the possibility of a dramatic return by Danielle Jones - run over by Janine Butcher.

The online petition set up by fan Vicky Cole was addressed to the show's executive producer Diederick Santer. It said: "We'd like to express our disappointment that you have written out Danielle Jones (played by the talented Lauren Crace). We, the fans of the show, believe it is a mistake to write out the most pivotal character in possibly the best storyline EastEnders has had. Although we realise it may not be possible to change the storyline and bring Lauren back, we hope that you will ensure her character's exit leaves a door open for her return." About 5,500 fans have signed the petition.

Other irate viewers have left comments on the web page of Mirror soapland blogger Tony Stewart. Outraged Lizzie wrote: "The BBC should be ashamed of themselves to have misjudged the popularity of this character." Tony said: "I've never known such outrage over the death of a character." An EastEnders spokesman said: "We acknowledge we didn't deliver the happy ending many hoped for."

This kind of shit makes me wonder what the fuck these people would do if something important happened. Not that they'd hear about it unless Eastenders was affected.

It kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? I just don't see how the character had that much appeal. Yes, it was an ok storyline, but, for goodness sakes, she's dead and signing a petition isn't going to bring her back. I would safely say that the viewing of the body kind of confirms that.

Great episodes overall, but time to move on to the "divorce of Archie and Peggy" storyline :)

I'll admit I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have the "happy ending" and I think they probably could have done a lot with the storyline but good lord, it's a bit much to be that wrapped up in it.

Like eefan said, it was an ok storyline. I think now we will have some interesting stuff with Archie and Peggy and also watching Ronnie fall psychologically apart right before our very eyes.

I look forward to the mental demise of Ronnie. I have never much liked her. She is too "woe is me" and "look at me, I am soooo sad". She just needs to pull on her big girl panties and get on with it. I much prefer Roxie...she isn't smart or a great dresser, but you know what you are getting and she is fun.

I am surprized that they killed Danielle off, but there is no going back now. What are they going to do, make it all a dream, ala "Dallas"? I would be really mad if they tried something like that. She is gone and now we have to concentrate on getting Archie out of the picture....that is infinately more interesting. I want to see him hanging by his bollocks from the top of the swings in the playground!

I wouldn't have minded if they waited a week or two before killing her off.

Me neither. I wouldn't have minded if they didn't kill her off at all, but they have, so onward and upward. Love that glint in Peggy's eye...that always means sparks are going to fly!!

Whilst I would have to liked to see the Ronnie/Danielle/Archie dynamic develop a bit further, I also, as a long-time EE viewer, know that happy endings don't come along very often. So we move along.....

Anyone have an insight as to why Roxy wouldn't want Ronnie to see the photo Danielle left of 'Danielle & Amy'? Didn't understand that bit.....

And my last question: how many people have been hit by cars in Albert Square and its environs now? Jamie Mitchell, Tiffany Mitchell, Danielle (Mitchell) Jones .... wait, am I seeing a pattern here?

:?
