There has just got to be a better way than to force people to bring a bunch of bags from home

Yes, the better way is for people to realise that they shouldn't have to be forced to look after their local area and the planet in general!

I can't speak for others, but I use my plastic bags from the grocery as garbage bags. Saves me from buying garbage bags.

But you still must have a lot more bags than you'd need for rubbish though. I've even got a 'bag-of-bags' even though I only ever used to take a plastic one very occasionally. They are a scourge! Scourge I say... haha

I think that grocery stores, clothing stores, department stores, et al., should just stop offering bags. Then people would have to come up with something and it would have to be something reusable. That way unless you want to carry it out in your hands, you figure something out.
