Ain't that the friggin' truth! Especially now with the writer's strike.

No kidding....

I have everything Comcast can throw at me here... well except for the 'spanish' chns & the 'Bollywood' chn.
I end up paying around the $280 a month, if I were not getting great 'bandwidth' on two dif' modems (seperate accounts) I'd dump them.

I am not only peeved at the writers strike spoiling TV right now... Comcast dropped HDNet several months ago in favor of their own info chn.
HDNet shows "Torchwood" un-cut in HiDef unlike the cut to shreds version shown on BBC-A.

$280 a month sounds excessive I know, but it does include: 2 seperate internet accounts (1 regular hi-speed & 1 upgraded ultra hi-speed), 2 HDTV DVRs, 3 digital cable boxes, the two modems (have to 'rent' theirs & can't use your own :( )....
TV wise: All the std stuff, over 30 HD chns, all the digital chns, all the premiums (HBO, Cinemax, Starz etc), 2 sports packages, digital radio and more stuff I can't remember...
(Most of the above is essential for the wife & the 3 boys... I'd be happy with just HD & the internet)

With PBS & BBC-A dropping East Enders, HDNet gone too... I myself tend to watch shows etc that I can grab off of the interwebbythingymajiggy :)
Yet another reason why I lub Faceless & the cappers.
