I see his point to a degree.
Turn on the TV between 9am & 4pm any day of the week (Over the air stuff) & it's all talk shows, womans forums, how to clean, cook, decorate etc... ohh & divorce courts, family dispute court & other such shite you wouldn't get a man to admit to watching even if you were pulling his nails out with pliers.
TV trends have shifted as has TV advertising, I remember a day when there was a good mixture of ads on TV both day & night, now it's all dominated by ads geared towards women (& not just panty liners).
Patrick Moore is a funny old coot too BTW.
I'm almost certain that some of what he said was tongue in cheek, he had a wicked sense of humor.
Yes he is old, but should that stop him from speaking his mind?

He has a valid point if you look at it this way.
All over the air TV Chns pander to women... the BBC more so nowdays.
It's worse here in the USA with over the air TV...
I feel that as per usual the media is reporting snippits of an old man chatting about the good old days & how things have changed.
