Phil's reaction to Heathers body being removed surprised me. I think he is finally seeing what a monster he has created. I don't think he realizes he created Ben's issues, but he is finally seeing that Ben has issues. And, now Ben realizes he killed Heather in error and it doesn't seem to faze him. He really is evil....and holding Jay's hoodie over his head, so to speak, as well. He is quite the operator.

The new Ben has always appeared creepy to me, or out of sorts. I guess in a way, he's a good actor because I think that is what Eastenders wanted out of the new Ben character. I wonder if the actor is leaving the show? I haven't heard any spoilers about it. How can he kill "Hev" and get away with it?

Yeah, I was just thinking the other day - would we have seen the actor that used to play Ben be like this. The character of the first Ben would not have gone this far. I don't think I've ever been as keen on the current actor. Although old Ben was a little bit wimpy...

I don't think the other actor was strong enough to carry this "new" evil Ben. He was too soft spoken and, like you said Twirly, wimpy. The new Ben creeps me out too, but I think that is a credit to the actor, because he is supposed to. Having said that, I just don't think I have ever liked Ben, old or new. The writers never seem to know what to do with him or what he is going to do. He just seems to bounce from one storyline to another....

I don't think I've liked Ben in any form either. While there were inklings of this behavior in the original actor, I would never have seen him go this far. He was far to wimpy as you all stated.
This Ben is a true antisocial personality and is doing a good job of it. I do think what also puts me off is not just the actors portrayal but this shape of the actors head. It's just weird

As with all good Walford funerals, I laughed, I cried. Kim with the deedley-bop headband...Shirley looking hard as stone in whatever that was she was wearing and Ben being his evil, horrible Ben-ness...and THAT CASKET!! All very Hev...

Here's to you, Hev....I for one will miss you!

I miss her loads I'll say! And I'm with you Spurs, top EE funeral. Can't wait until Ben get his and Phil as well.

I really thought Ben was going to lose it at the funeral and admit he killed Hev. There are definitely too many loose ends and too many people who know for this not to end badly for Ben.

Oddly, I was very disappointed with the episode. It all felt a bit disjointed and like they just threw the whole thing together very quickly. But that pink coffin sure was Hev!

I wasn't too pleased with the episode myself. The editing was weird and it was just missing something. But, yes the coffin was fab!!

I remember a bit where Tamwar says something about someone (Darren?) not being there. It looked like it had been just thrown in at the last minute as they'd forgotten to mention it earlier
