Got to say, I AM really enjoying Survivors. Just wish Doctor Who's Martha hadn't disappeared so early on. I do enjoy watching Julie Graham and Max Beesley.

I see that BBC Canada is about the same then

And yes, the Couch is a very comfy place to be. I originally came for EE but stayed because of everyone :)

Here's an email I rec'd just this morning:

We realize the loyal fans of EastEnders have been disappointed by our
changes to the schedule. Due to the overwhelming viewer response in
support of the program, we have decided to continue airing Eastenders
Mondays to Fridays at 12pm ET, repeated at 4pm ET, while the situation
is being reevaluated.

Thank you for your feedback.

That's fantastic -- BBC Canada actually listened to their viewers!

That is SO awesome, eefan! The people have spoken! At least BBC Canada listened. Maybe BBC America will take notice and put it back on....but then I wouldn't get to watch it daily, so really, who cares??? All Hail Mr. Faceless Sir...

It is good news although I was more likely to watch the omnibus on Saturday mornings.... I'm never home @ noon or 4 pm and likely wouldn't record the shows since I've seen them long ago------- it was kind of my Saturday morning thing to have a nice cup of tea and watch EE. Still, at least they appear to have listened to the viewers :)

EastEnders
Summer Hiatus - Friday, June 18, 2010
EastEnders will return to Canadian television exactly where it left off in Sept. 2010 – please check your local listings at that time for more information.

Did 'we' the squeaky wheel get somewhere... I hope so

My thanks to everyone who let their voice be heard, it worked....

Cheers

"... exactly where it left off in Sept. 2010"

Either that or they meant that in Sept 2010, they would pick up where they left off when they stopped showing it...Well done, Canada - you got EE back!
