Great result - hope it bodes well for the season ahead. We have more points already than we did after 8 games last season!

Don't want to upset Faceless, but we could be signing Scott Broon from Celtic soon!

I saw that about Brown - £11m is quite some price and we've always done well bringing players in who aren't very well known and getting the best out of them, so it might mean a few new faces if he goes

What a result! THis is the start we should have had last season. 5-1!! Awesome!! I wish I had seen the game. 3 from JD, 1 from Robbie and 1 from Palacios. Brilliant! As far as being top of the league, all I can say is goal differential, baby, goal differential!! It is always better to score more than the other guys!

I found a local place called Crabby Bill's that is right down the beach from me (and a restaurant that we frequent) that now serves breakfast and shows footy on the weekends. Not to bad to catch a game or two there. No cover as far as I could tell ,we already know the food is good and it is almost exactly 1/2 way between my house and my brothers! Bonus. Going to watch tomorrow's game there and see how it goes. I may more there if all goes well. Not usually a big fan of watching in pubs, but...we shall see what we shall see...The only down side that I can see is that I was greeted by a ManUre fan and a Gooner!! ;) Having said that, they were very helpful and..dare I say it...nice, even! Will wonders never cease!

You'll have to be up early tomorrow to watch the game then! It's on too early for me and I'm in the UK!!!

Wasn't too bad. I was there at 7:30, had some coffee, a little breakfast and then the game came on. It was early, but never too early for Spurs. It was quite enjoyable, but I think if it were a Saturday game, it would have been loud and drunken (in my county, they can't serve alcohol until 11 am on Sundays), and not usually the atmosphere I am looking for to watch a game on TV. Now, live, that is a different story.

It also made it easier that we won. According to the Setanta announcers, best start since the double. I'll take it... The score also got me 4pts in my prediction league. Just to add to the glory, my new car license plate came and I had it personalized to say "WHLN17" I think that helped with our win today... ;)

So... five wins from five. Twelve points in the league.

My first visit to the Lane this season today with my daughter and a great exciting finish. United and Chelsea up next... onwards and upwards. COYS
