That does sound a sore one Bay - hope you're ok today.

Spurs, I'm surprised your trainer wants to you to take up jogging. It always seemed unnecessary pressure on the joints to me and, according to adverts from the NHS here, you're as well just walking briskly for the actual benefit it gives you.

I'd recommend cycling of course - low impact and a lot more fun.

I have a stationary bike that I use and think I may start using it more and see if it doesn't do the trick. I am kinda scared of jogging and the effect on my knee, which I have injured in the past. I guess her point is that I have to do more aerobic stuff ....

well, I'm stiff and sore today, a bit creaky, but will survive. it feels better to move around than to sit, LOL...the last time I came off a horse was just before christmas and I broke 2 ribs, so in comparison, this wasn't bad, LOL

@ bay - hope you're feeling a bit better today. I'm sure you'll be stiff and sore for a few more days. Try a warm bath with epsom salts -- should take away a few of the aches and pains.

@ spurs-- way to go!!! You'll have to take a picture of the tattoo and let us all have a peek :)

I have tried to take photos of the new ink myself, but the angle of me taking it makes it look all out of proportion. I will have Marcella take it and help me post it! You guys probably think I am nuts, but I LOVE it....

Im am down 1.8lbs this week bringing the total to almost 55lbs. I think that this plateau may be drawing to a close and the new exercise regime might be the answer. I haven't tried the running yet, but the biking seems to be working so that will be the mainstay for right now, especially with the heat and humidity so high the last couple of weeks and the afternoon thunderstorms, an inside option may be best.

That is so awesome Spurs. I am happy for you. I have hit a plateau at the moment and am trying to get out of it myself. I am so proud of all the weight you have lost. That is a great achievement! When do we get to see a picture of the tat?

Well, I PROMISE I will work on it. We have been renovating the beach house and I have been up to my eyes in carpet and paint, but I will work on it....I am so bad at remembering these things...

Burned 1600 calories today in the two hour spin class. I am surprised I survived. But not only did I but I know I could do it again. I honestly wish I could do the two hours everyday. It was pretty awesome. My clothes though were so wet when I was done I looked like I had been hosed down with water.
Now I just have to try to make it to the Wednesday and Friday morning spin classes. I usually go to the Saturday one but I find it harder to get to the other ones because they are at 6am. I want to because I know I have to kick it up a notch to keep going. I've plateaued and need to kick my metabolism back in gear.
