[sarcasm]

Ah, bless!! Our poor, misunderstood Grace.....this whole reality thing is, like, completely SUCH a bitch!

[/sarcasm] :P

Grace looked visibly upset after the arrival of the Golden Ticket Winner. I noticed that there were many forced smiles whilst the newbie, Susie, was speaking with the group. Grace looked "about as comfortable as a whore in church" (sorry, old saying courtesy of my Texan grandma). Too bad that our Grace can't be enlightened to the fact that her unpopularity has nothing to do with her relationship with Mikey, but more to do with Grace's individual persona. Bottom line, she's not a very kind, empathetic person.

Getting it off her chest ... Kate Lawler talks about this week's antics!
THE SUN

Greetings BB fans from sunny Ibiza. Don't worry, in between sunning myself and spinning the decks I've been keeping my eagle eyes on all the antics in the BB house.

The nominations got a bit bitchy this week didn't they? I can't believe Lea turned on Richard and gorgeous Pete nominated bunny-boiler Lisa! Pete says he nominated Lisa: 'because she murdered a bumblebee'. What he really meant was: 'Lisa's murdered a bumblebee, I fear I may be next on her hit list.' (Note to Pete: wait til she finds out YOU nominated her!)

Lea is blatantly stabbing Nikki in the back. I thought they were friends? In the diary room she said she nominated Nikki because she is always performing. Erm... Lea weren't you in a porn movie my dear? Surely that's more of a performance than Nikki acting a bit dippy?! Lea is clearly bitter about getting old and is jealous that she doesn't look like Nikki, even though she's spent thousands on surgery and the worst hair extensions possible. (Miaow!)

Shrek! Your time is up, please leave the Big Brother house! PLEASE! Sorry Sam, but you do resemble an ogre in drag. It's unlucky for Sam that BB has edited her to be annoying but that's the risk you take by going on the show. I've got a feeling she will find her eviction really tough if she is booed! I've been a bit harsh on Shrek so if she does go and you happen to be at the eviction, please give a cheer to save more BB mental breakdowns! I know half the public find Nikki annoying, but at least she actually brings a bit of personality to the house. Keep her in!

I'm loving this week's task. The house can get quite dull after the initial excitement of the beginning weeks so finding jobs will give them something to think about. It's fantastic that 'I've no personality Imogen' has been made the house's official toilet cleaner! Let's see if she can mop up a smile.

The hot weather this week has seen the girls strip off into their skimpy bikinis. I was pleased to see Aisleyne getting patriotic by wearing her St George bikini. (Did you see me in mine in yesterday's newspaper?) Come on England! It must be awful missing out on the World Cup. I did that in 2002 because I was in the house for nine weeks but I would never do it again!

Aisleyne definitely has the best figure out of the all the girls. I am very envious of her lovely long legs and pert little bottom. I think it's fab she keeps trying to tempt Mikey by walking around in her G-String and bra. It is winding Grace up so much! Hooray!

This might be a bit of a long-shot but I reckon producers have put Aisleyne into the house as a secret weapon. There's got to be something more about her. She's being too nice and BB wouldn't of put two 'nice' girls in together would they!? One day I think she's going to change in personality and do something. I'm not quite sure what, but she's certainly stirred things up with Grace already! She'd blatantly snog Mikey if it was on offer. Although I think Mikey agrees with my brother about Aisleyne - body like Baywatch, face like Crimewatch.

I was shocked by Grace's racist comments this week. Nothing surprises me with her now though. It's doing my head in that she's still managing to get all the other housemates kissing her a***!

She's a hypocrite too. The other day the HMs were talking about what they are going to do when they get out of the house. She was bitching that Nikki and Lea will do loads of glamour shoots for lads mags. What are the odds that Grace and Imogen to do exactly the same!? And they'll probably get their boobs out. She'll love all the attention from boys won't she...

Well I never... The mute, sorry I mean Glyn, is actually starting to blossom! After making less noise than my pet rabbit for three weeks I think he's actually starting to come out of his shell. That lap dance from Lea made his year .. or even his life! He comes from such a remote place in Wales that I don't think he's even seen bare breasts in the flesh before! He could even turn out to be another Cameron (god help us!). Glyn is harmless, sweet and genuine but SO boring. Bless him...

I can't wait for the Golden Ticket winner to go in tomorrow night. 44 tickets remain unclaimed - probably all in vending machines at the local swimming baths around the country... I'd have steered well clear of Kit Kats anyway. The World cup is far more appealing than being in that house and Kit Kat Chunkys are much better too!

Lawler' Lowdown, over and out. x

For Pete's Sake

There's a loud little creature hovering around Pete today and he can't seem to shake it off... it's called Lisa.

The one-time romance hopefuls have been going through a rough patch of late, mainly because Pete now seems to find Lisa more irritating than psoriasis.

It's not hard to see why, as Lisa follows him around yearning to rekindle the moments of madness they used to share. But temper tantrums or bitching isn't Pete's style, so he just went to bed. Lisa followed him there too.

"Are you going to sleep?" she asked.

"I'm trying to," he replied coldly.

"Don't go to sleep, you're boring. Why don't you entertain me and be stupid?" begged the pint-sized Mancunian.

"Because I'm knackered," Pete exclaimed, quite loudly.

"Well be un-knackered," Lisa demanded.

"Be nice," retorted Pete. Lisa then adopted a babyish voice and went over-the-top nice. It was a bit weird. Luckily for Pete, someone came to his rescue. It was Nikki, of course.

"Are you two battling again?" she asked.

"No, she's just..."replied Pete, opting not to complete the sentence.

"She's just what?" shrieked Lisa accusingly.

"Come on now, don't bully Petey," said Nikki,
sounding a bit like a police officer trying to diffuse a potentially volatile situation.

"He loves it really," insisted Lisa.

"He doesn't," said Nikki.

"He does," said Lisa.

Hmm. Sorry Lisa, but he really doesn't. :x

Argh!

I used to think it was good what Pete and Lisa had. Now she is just being a cretin.

GET LISA OUT.

I totally agree with you Griffo, but not till after Grace gets out. Those 2 are on my GTFO list

One thing that we all seem to be universally in agreement about is that we want Pete to win. I suppose I just want to still see some action up until the point he actually does win it. For that you need conflict, otherwise it could get boring.

Is there any couchtrippers who want someone other than Pete to win?

Well I really do want Pete to win but I'd be happy if Nikki won as well. She's a daft bint and such a quirky character. Her outbursts, rants, screams and giggles are entertaining and genuine. I find her entertaining.

I really want Pete to win. But if not, then i want Glyn to win.

This show could do lots for Pete if he won.

Once again we agree Griffo. If Pete doesn't win I'd like to see Glyn win it all. They're the most decent in the house and not playing the stabbing game.

I really like Richard to and haven't seen him do too much wrong other than him with Imogen that time. That wasn't necessary so that kind of takes him out of it.

Suzie is turning out to be quite the nice lady. She could verywell end up being popular. Time will tell!

GOLDENGATE

Post by Ally »

What exactly is BB thinking? The arrival of the 'Golden' housemate caused minimal interest for the viewers, especially when it quickly became apparent that her selection was not entirely random.

This morning The Sun and the Daily Star are both fuming over "Goldengate", with the Sun's business editor Ian King even questioning whether this will have a knock on effect for KitKat sales and maker Nestle's finances.

The arrival of 'Golden' Suzie on Friday quickly descended into farce when it became obvious that she was known to four of the housemates and had auditioned for BB many times before. It appears that BB producers do not like to change a supposedly winning formula. Suzie is exactly like the rest of the housemates. A silicone enhanced model, with a desire for recognition. This only reinforces suspicions that this housemate was not randomly chosen out of the golden ticket winners live on air on Friday night but planted by BB producers.

Just what are the BB puppet masters trying to achieve? The whole 'Golden Ticket' promo is open to accusations of 'fix'. BB viewers are generally an outspoken bunch. Did BB not think their stunt would enrage those who most enjoy the (admittedly deliberate) random mix of housemates? Or was this another obvious trick to pull in the column inches?

Whatever their reasons, it sorely tests the whole premise of the show. BB is supposed to mess with the housemates, giving the viewer a sense of superiority. The viewer can see the games BB plays before the housemates do and gives us all the opportunity to congratulate ourselves for never wanting to become contestants. BB has therefore, broken a rule. It is not supposed to mess with the viewers. The outrage amongst BB fans is obvious. If BB wants to raise the shock value, it should concentrate on well thought out tasks and giving the housemates more to do. Not only does the arrival of Suzie insult the viewers, it is also just plain lazy.

* And in other Big Brother news: 2001 BB lovebirds Helen "I love blinking, I do" Adams and Paul "I live life like an international pop star" Clarke have split, it was revealed in Heat magazine today.

Goodbye Grace or Goodbye Nikki?
Sloane Ranger Grace is favourite to be evicted from the Big Brother house this week after being nominated - with Ladbrokes making her 1/10.

Grace and Nikki were nominated by Susie - the only housemate allowed to cast her vote.

The Golden Ticket winner went into the Diary Room to make her nominations unaware that she had the only vote.

Ladbrokes have given Grace odds of 1/10, with Nikki at 5/1.

Grace's mother has told of her fears for her daughter's safety, told the Daily Star: "They've thrown my Grace to the lions. I really fear for her safety when she comes out. Who knows what those fans will do to her? How could Channel 4 allow those chants (Get Grace Out) to be heard?"

Should this year's Big Brother really be the last? Half of the respondents in a leaked ITV audience tracking survey seem to think so.

The survey of 552 people, weighted to represent the UK population, also came up with majority views that the series was worse this year than previous years; that they talk about it less; that it is on too much and there are too many spin-offs.

Worryingly, a majority also say they agree that the housemates are more extreme this year and that some of them seem mentally unwell - a serious charge for a programme that prides itself on only putting people in the house who can handle the pressure.

However, is this just a case of lies, damn lies and statistics - especially coming from one of Channel 4's competitors? Channel 4 points out that ratings for this year's series are so far up 9%. If it is really so bad, why are we still watching?

It could be the fact that there is just so much of it on - its hard not to watch Channel 4 for any amount of time without stumbling over the show and its myriad spin-offs. This year's run is the longest yet while there are more related shows such as Big Brother's Little Britain and Big Brother's Big Mouth than ever before.

It also remains classic water-cooler TV - if you don't at least know who some of the contestants are then you are more than likely going to be left out of office conversations. The tabloids , and increasingly the broadsheets are still devoting acres of news print to it while cyberspace is awash with it - you are reading this, after all.

It is now seen by many to be as much of an annual summer event as Wimbledon and Royal Ascot, but of course with more chavs and more nudity.

If Big Brother really ended this year, wouldn't we all miss it?

This is from The Sun

So much has happened at the weekend, I'm not sure where to start!

Firstly, I'm not sure if I'm just being over-speculative but I reckon the arrival of Susie is a total fix.

She was the best looking of all the Golden Ticket winners, knew four of the housemates and just happens to have massive boobs too! Producers aren't stupid. They know lots of the male viewers watch BB for the t*** and will draw people in now the World Cup has started! First impressions of Susie - bit posh and very sure of herself but quite normal. Would have preferred a fit bloke in there though!

Sam's departure - what is there to say? She's one housemate who was pointless from the moment she popped out her box and yelled: 'Oh my god! Oh my god!' Her post-eviction chat with Davina has got to be the dullest ever too...

I've just heard Grace and Nikki are up for eviction. It looks like Grace will finally get the boot. She is so hated isn't she? But why was Nikki nominated? She's so great, I love her!

From Grace's reaction to the boos the other night, I reckon she won't last til Friday. By the time I next speak to you I think she'll have walked out the back door to avoid the humiliation.

Lisa did well in the task yesterday. Being woken up at 7am and being made to stand on a podium is not as easy as it seems. Maybe Lisa had a feeling the prize would make her immune from eviction... Good on her for sticking it out though I say!

Personality Plus (Imogen) is as dull as dishwater. She has no pupose other than to look pretty. I wish Susie had nominated her instead of Nikki. In a way I wish Sezer had stayed because at least then Imogen was a bit more interesting. Surely BB producers could of found some female eye candy with a personality this year? They get it wrong so many times!

You can guarantee with every year of Big Brother, there will always be a game of spin the bottle! In my year of BB, I snogged almost everyone! I didn't give a s*** but admittedly I was drunk most of the time and it was a lot of fun...

I'm loving the fact that Pete and Nikki got it on. They're both so sweet. They're a major unlikely couple but when you are in the house for that long, even the people that you don't find attractive initially end up being fanciable! Please keep Nikki in so we can see what happens between them!

I've heard Glyn's odds of winning have been slashed at the bookies. He may well do a Cameron. He's so likeable because he hasn't got a hidden agenda. He was so innocent yesterday when he stood down from the podium challenge so that someone else could have a chance of winning. He's like the village idiot, hilarious when he had to cook for the housemates. Having said that I didn't know how to cook pasta when I was 18. I put it in the microwave without any water!

I feel really sorry for the housemates when food is low. It really brings moral down and can cause really bad arguments. It is worst thing that can happen in house. When it's not there you really want it. When I was in the house when there was the poor/rich divide we had a massive argument about milk! The housemates will be really bored by now too ... lets hope something cheers them up!
