Watching the draft. Lightning don't pick until #27. Until then...lots of kids I have never heard of. Truthfully, when the Lightning pick, it will be one more kid I have never heard of. My scouting was nonexistent this year. I should be able to do a better job next year...no kitchen to put back together!!

I have to say...Welcome back to the Winnipeg Jets! I had learned to hate the Atlanta Thrashers, but I sure would much rather have another Canadian team than one in
Atlanta.

Here we go again!!! The 2011-2012 campaign begins on 10/7. The Lightning have done well in preseason and I can't wait for the season to start!

Missed the pre-season Leafs game last night..........but glad that once again, Saturday night becomes 'Hockey Night in Canada'

I don't usually pay too much attention to pre season as far as watching games. I do watch the rosters and such....who is coming, who is going...but the games not so much.

I went and picked up my jersey yesterday (Full season ticket holders got a free jersey this year because they want us to promote the new logo...) and the city is a buzz! The Rays are in playoff contention, FC Tampa Bay (NSL) is in the playoffs, the Bucs seem to be playing well (I haven't seen any of the games as they are all blacked out here - not enough people going), so the Lightning doing well will just be the icing on the cake!

Ha ha! The Bolts do to! We play Boston at Boston tonight. Hopefully, we will play as well. I would REALLY like to beat them...Our home opener is not until the 17th. Can't wait!

I wish! We lost to Boston and tied with the Caps. But 3 pts out of a possible 6..not good enough for Lightning Hockey!!

Ugh....we are 1-2-2 now, with our OT loss to the Stinkin' Panthers. They are finally at home on Monday night for the home opener and we take those stupid cats on again. Hopefully we can beat them at home!
