Yeah, that does sound interesting. There was a show here(U.S.) called Gross Pointe. It was a parody of Beverly Hills 90210 and shows like Dawsons Creek. I liked it but it only lasted one season. It is available on DVD.

I didn't like the fact that the Christmas episode ended with Tanya falling down the stairs and lying motionless and on the next episode, the first scene is of Tanya holding Oscar in the living room with barely a mention of what happened.
