My guess is that USA wants to establish a Military base in Yemen or at least wants to use its Air. So regardless of whose done it (, even though we don't really know exactly what it is), it is benefiting Obama (or whoever would've been in power), especially during the Mid-term.

Some of things mentioned here are just too much! IIRC, there was a BBC Horizon programme covering similar thing. They were saying that one of reasons why we see the new generation is more prone to various infections and disease is because we lead a more germ free life - i.e., too much sterile ...
