Sad news... hoepfully it's not just some insurance job and they'll restore it. |

You know, I find this suspicious. The one area that the council has been trying to knock down for 20 years to put up large super markets and newer shops/malls is now in flames and the fire fighters can't fight it. |

It does sound a bit fishy. The only way they can get that fishy smell out of that situation is to rebuild it back to what is is meant to be. We'll see. |

That's what I truly hope. Camden Town is probably one of my most favorite places on earth. Every time we go back to England we go there. I recommend it to everyone I know who travels to London. I can say with all honesty that if I could live there I would in a heartbeat. It's my kind of place and I just love it. To see it change into something commercial and soulless would break my heart |

Sounds fishy to me as well. Here's hoping they'll rebuild it in the style it was before it burned. I'd love to see it when I finally travel to England, but not if it turns out to be a Tesco's or something |

"Sitting on a bar stool in the middle of the road..." I love this quote. It gives a new face to the "man ont the street" interview! |

Site is within spitting distance of an Asda/Morrisons and a Sainsbury's
So Tesco or Waitrose might have an interest .. |
